Dudley residents urged to vote in next months local elections

People are being urged to use their vote as thousands of residents across Dudley borough head to the polls next month.

The local elections take place on May 3 to elect 24 councillors to serve Dudley borough. Polls will be open from 7am until 10pm at venues across the borough. Sarah Norman, chief executive and electoral returning officer at Dudley Council, said:

“This is an important process to make sure that people’s views are represented. By voting you give yourself a say on how services at Dudley Council are run and I urge people to take the time to get out and vote.”

There are 193 polling stations across the borough. Poll cards have been delivered to people who have registered, which need to be handed in when voting.
