Dudley South MP head out on summer constituency tour

Dudley South MP, Mike Wood, is set to embark on his summer tour of the constituency next week, taking his surgery right into the heart of local communities.

From the end of this week, Parliament goes into recess until September, meaning MP's have the chance to be back in their constituencies for the remainder of the summer.

Mike and his team will be visiting communities right across his constituency as part of his tour, starting in Wordsley Green next Tuesday morning at 9:30am.

They will be setting up stalls outside shops and on street corners for any passing members of the public to stop and have a chat with their MP about this issues that matter to them. Mr Wood said:

“It’s always a pleasure to get back to Dudley South for the summer recess and my summer tour offers a brilliant way to get out and about in the community in a way that’s more difficult when I’m in Westminster four days a week when the House of Commons is sitting.

“I take my privileged role as a representative and voice for the community in Parliament very seriously, so please do pop by to share your thoughts if you’re in the area next week.”
