Dudley Zoo goes scary with the Night of the Living Dead

Prepared to be freaked out watching a classic scary film in the open air, sat amongst Dudley Castle ruins, ankles dangerously close to the ground, where zombies could quite easily burst forth from at any moment!

On Friday 3rd August, Dudley Castle, in the ground of Dudley Zoo, will feature an our door showing of the Night of the Living Dead, often cited as being one of the most influential horror films of all time.

The story follows a group of desperate civilians who fight to avoid death at the hands of flesh-eating zombies when the dead suddenly come back to life. What better setting for this film than the grounds of Dudley Castle - with the audience sat amongst the ruins, ankles dangerously close to the ground, where zombies could quite easily burst forth from at any moment!

Tickets are on sale now through the Dudley Zoo website, or by calling 01384 215313. Patrons are advised that the event will go ahead in any weather, so tickets are non-refundable.

This screening is part of the third installment of ‘Beware the Moon’ in partnership with Flatpack Projects, a yearly screening event that turns Dudley Castle into an open air cinema for your delight and enjoyment. There will be hot food, a licensed bar, mood-lighting & special effects, and as always a surprise or two thrown in for good measure!
