Enjoy adventures at Astley Burf this summer

Archery, basketball, kiting, mountain biking and climbing are just a few of the activities on offer for youngsters at Astley Burf Outdoor Adventure Centre this summer.

A week of adventure days for children during the school holidays will run from Monday July 29th to Friday August 2nd at the Dudley Council-owned site, located just outside Stourport-on-Severn.

The week is for primary school aged children in years 1-6, and activities are tailored to suit age ranges. All activities are organised and supervised by qualified DBS approved staff. Councillor Ruth Buttery, cabinet member for children and young people, said:

"Our summer adventure days are a great childcare choice for a week of the long school holidays. Parents can book a single day or multiple days, and with all activities and transport included, it offers great value for money."

The cost is £31 per child per day, with a 10% reduction to £139.50 (£27.90 per day) to book for the full five days. The fee includes all activities, lunch, drinks and snacks plus return coach transport from Saltwells Education Development Centre in Netherton to Astley Burf.

Places are limited. For more information, or to book a place, contact Karen Dutton on (01384) 813714 or email karen.dutton@dudley.gov.uk.

The closing date for bookings is Friday June 28th.
