Halloween House is back at Merry Hill for its seventh year, bringing even more thrills, chills and family fun to the West Midlands.
The megastore has built a reputation as a must-visit destination for Halloween lovers across the UK.
The seasonal favourite has re-opened its doors on the Lower Mall opposite Boots. Known for its jaw-dropping displays and immersive experience, the store is packed with thousands of spooky items –from classic costumes and horror masks to bold make-up, eerie décor, and quirky autumnal homeware.
Halloween House continues to hold the title of Europe’s largest Halloween store, and this year’s line-up is expected to be its more exciting yet.
New for 2025, shoppers can immerse themselves in updated themed zones and eye-catching displays, including an all-new haunted circus, a refreshed Cemetery zone, and the return of the ever-popular Butcher Shop, now with a sinister new crime scene twist.
A life-sized reaper on horseback imported from the US headlines this year’s animatronic line-up, joined by over 50 other eerie and entertaining figures. From photo ops with horror icons to unexpected jump-scares, the store continues to blur the line between shopping and live experience.
Horror fans will not be disappointed either, with new exclusive Ghostface merch following last year’s sell-out success and a dedicated section for Pennywise ahead of the release of Welcome to Derry. New additions also include Halloween-themed fashion, accessories, homeware, scented candles and more exclusive products celebrating classic horror characters.
Halloween House continues to support the local community, creating over 30 seasonal jobs and spreading Halloween cheer with special treat donations to local children’s hospitals.
As in previous years, the store is expected to draw visitors from across the UK. The store will remain open seven days a week until November, when it will transform into Christmas House, helping to spread festive cheer into the winter months.
Rebekah Macchione, Assistant Manager at Halloween House, said: “We’re excited to be back at Merry Hill for our seventh year – and this is shaping up to be our best one yet!
"Opening weekend was incredible, with queues forming before we opened and amazing reactions from families exploring the store.
"Halloween House has become a destination in its own right, and the buzz on our social channels already shows how much people have been looking forward to our return!
"We can’t wait to see families and children enjoying everything we’ve put together for 2025.”
Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager at Merry Hill, added: “Welcoming Halloween House back is always a highlight for us. It’s a truly unique experience that draws visitors from across the UK, and even some famous faces over the years.
“At Merry Hill, we are committed to making every visit memorable, with new and exciting experiences scheduled throughout the year to complement the new brands that have arrived in the last 2 years.
"Halloween House is a brilliant example of this and follows on from the success of our events like QRious Quest, and adds to the line-up of seasonal attractions helping to make Merry Hill a go-to destination all year round.”
