New figures show that more than 7,000 trains arrived at least one minute late at Sandwell & Dudley railway station in a three month period.
In the 13 weeks between late June and mid-September, nearly two-thirds of almost 12,000 trains arrived over 60 seconds after their scheduled arrival time.
It comes despite Network Rail showing that the number of trains arriving on time has risen dramatically since it took over the nation’s railways 13 years ago.
It uses the Public Performance Measure, which only counts a delay if a train arrives more than five minutes late – giving Sandwell & Dudley an 83.6% record for on time trains.
