Financial advisers triple office space in Enterprise Zone move

A growing business, which has more than tripled its office space in a recent move to premises on the Waterfront, is the latest firm to take up a DY5 enterprise zone tenancy.

Prosperity Wealth, an award winning firm which offers independent financial advice, has this month moved into 12,000 sq ft office space in Quay House on the Waterfront. It is the latest firm to relocate and reap the benefits of DY5, Dudley’s Business and Innovation Enterprise Zone, which includes business rate relief for five years, super fast broadband, a central location and improved transport links when the new Metro line opens.

The company, which offers advice on pensions, investments, mortgages, equity release and commercial finance, has more than quadrupled the number of financial advisors in the last 10 years from 8 to 40 and also employs 18 members of staff to carry out administrative duties. Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for planning and economic development said:

“The enterprise zone offers fantastic ready to move into office accommodation to suit any business and I’m delighted Prosperity Wealth has chosen DY5 as the location to continue the successful growth of their business.

“DY5 will support Prosperity Wealth and any other business that want to relocate. Together we can build a successful enterprise that breathes new life into the area and supports the growth of the local economy.”

The enterprise zone will help to rejuvenate the Waterfront office complex at Merry Hill and create additional office, technology and industrial space in the surrounding areas of Brierley Hill, Harts Hill and Pensnett. It is expected to deliver up to 7,000 new jobs and uplift the economy by £589million each year.
