Former petrol station up for auction

A former Cradley Heath Service Station has been listed for sale in next Bond Wolfe auction.

A disused petrol station in Cradley Heath is appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction on Thursday 30 March.

The former Cradley Heath Service Station on the corner of Corngreaves Road and Newlyn Road will have a guide price of £100,000+ at the livestreamed auction.

The freehold property includes a petrol station, car wash and a small brick-built retail unit on a 0.2 acre plot of land. Ron Darlington, consultant director at Bond Wolfe, said:

“This property remains fully equipped as a service station, with six diesel and petrol pumping stations under the ‘drive-in, drive-out’ canopy, the retail unit fitted with twin roller shutters, with a small office and WC, as well as two car wash bays.

“It may be suitable to continue in use as a service station but may be considered for a number of alternative uses, including complete redevelopment of the site, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents from the local authority.”

The former service station will be among scores of properties appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 9am on. Thursday 30 March.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
