Unpaid carers across Dudley borough can find out about support on offer as well as get a health check and enjoy relaxation therapies at a free event next Tuesday.
The Brett Young Centre, Old Hawne Lane, Halesowen is hosting the event from 10am to 2pm to mark Carers Rights Day, which is later in the week.
The national day is about recognising unpaid carers’ contribution and raising awareness of the rights unpaid carers have, to help them get the support they need.
At the Brett Young Centre event there will be a range of support on offer as well as activities for the carers to enjoy.
Free health checks and flu and covid jabs will also be available.

Councillor Andrea Goddard, cabinet member for adult social care said: “Unpaid carers make an incredible and often unseen contribution to families and our local community.
"I know from my own experience, caring for my nan when I was younger, just how rewarding yet overwhelming that responsibility can sometimes feel.
“That’s why the work of Dudley Carers Hub is so important — making sure that carers across our borough have access to the right support, advice, and understanding. None of us should feel we have to face the challenges of caring alone.
“At the event, there will be a wealth of information and guidance available, alongside opportunities to take a well-deserved break and enjoy some relaxation therapies. It’s a chance to connect, recharge, and remember that carers matter too.
