There’s set to be frighteningly good fun at Dudley Zoo and Castle this Halloween half term with its ‘Frights, feathers and fur’ event.
New for 2025, will be ‘Haunted Hunters’ a fang-tastic bird of prey display in the eerie undercroft of the 11th century castle.

Elsewhere on site, visitors can discover creepy critters in Castle Creatures and take part in Halloween crafts, as well as being urged to turn detective to help solve a terrible crime as they navigate clues around the zoo’s spooky 40-acres.

With castle history and ghost talks running throughout the day, visitors can find out more about those who once lived within the castle’s walls – which is reported to be one of the most haunted places in the UK.

Plus, guests are encouraged to don their best Halloween fancy dress with spot prizes being given out each day for the best spooky costumes.

Zoo Director, Matt Lewis said: “With lots of new Halloween-themed activities and more than 160 amazing animal species to discover, we’ve got plenty to keep the family busy this half term.
“And don’t forget our kids go free ticket offer, which continues to run throughout the holidays, enabling up to two children free entry with every full-paying adult ticket pre-booked online, which means visiting DZC this autumn is spooktacular value!”

To claim the kids go free offer, tickets must be purchased in advance from the zoo’s website.
