Halesowen College is hosting a series of enrolment evenings for school leavers who have not yet secured a placement for September and adults who are looking to upskill or reskill to expand their career opportunities.
The enrolment evenings will take place at its Whittingham Road campus on Wednesday 2nd September, Tuesday 8th September and Thursday 17th September with each session running between 4pm to 7pm.
Young people looking for a supportive college with an enviable range of A Levels, or a vocational course where they can for example turn their love for gaming or digital into a career or stir up some culinary delights, Halesowen College has something on offer.
Likewise the college has a portfolio of courses designed to support adults in gaining skills that will springboard them into employment or higher education.
Having invested heavily across its campuses; learners gain experience of real-life situations that enable them to achieve their ambitions and thrive in the workplace. Its Whitingham Road campus houses new hairdressing and beauty training rooms providing students with the facilities to gain hands-on training.
Trinity Point boasts facilities that raise the bar for the digital and media industries. Shenstone House is home to the Centre of Excellence for Health Education and is equipped with cutting-edge facilities that will provide an immersive learning experience for learners.
The college’s latest development, Amber Way Construction Centre, has been designed with workspaces to equip learners with the skills they need to enter the construction industry – with courses in plastering, bricklaying, painting and decorating and electrical installation on offer.
