A survey has been launched giving residents the chance to shape Dudley Council’s new digital platform for reporting and requesting services online.
The anonymous survey only takes 10 minutes to complete and will be used to find out what is important for residents and should be included in the new MyDudley platform.
It will allow residents to report and request online a host of services from the local authority. People will still be able to access support via face-to-face consultations at Dudley Council Plus or over the phone.
People can fill in the survey online. The council has also organised a number of drop-in events at leisure centres and community hubs across the borough this week for people to complete the survey in person and find out more.
The first is at Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre in Dudley town centre today from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Staff will also be at Sedgley Community Centre from 1.30pm to 3pm.
The roadshow moves on to Halesowen Leisure Centre tomorrow (9.30am-2.30pm) and Crystal Leisure Centre in Stourbridge on Wednesday. (Aug 2) The team will also visit Quarry Bank Community Centre and St Francis Church in Wrens Nest on Wednesday. And on Friday (Aug 4) they will be at The Dell Stadium in Brierley Hill (12pm-4pm) and Halesowen Cultural Centre (12pm-2.30pm)
Dudley Council has appointed Granicus to co-design and deliver the new platform. Councillor Phil Atkins, cabinet member for corporate strategy, said:
"The new MyDudley platform represents a really significant step forward for the council, and will make it even easier for our residents to report and request services from us.
"We want as many people as possible to fill in the survey, which will shape the look and feel of the new digital platform.
"These events are an excellent chance for people to find out in person how the new system will work, and also for them to tell us what they think should be included in it.
“I would urge people to go along and find out more at a leisure centre or a community hub near them."
