High school to drop special admission status of Lutley Primary

A Halesowen high school is to drop its special admissions status of Lutley Primary in Lapal.

Windsor High School wants to remove a stipulation that where demand for places exceeds supply, pupils from Lutley will be given preference.

Special needs children, siblings of Windsor pupils and proximity to home are the other criteria used for admitting pupils in the event of over subscription.

Parents of Lutley Primary children are said to be angry at the move.
