It’s snow joke - the white stuff is set to fall at Merry Hill

Visitors to intu Merry Hill won’t need to dream of a white Christmas this year as the West Midlands shopping centre is forecasting more than just a flurry this December!

From Saturday 2nd December, families will be able to enjoy ‘real’ snow as it falls inside the centre everyday throughout December at the new 'Wishmas Garden'.

Children will also be able to catch a glimpse of a shooting star, write a letter to the North Pole and decorate a festive bauble at the centre’s free Christmas wonderland experience. The big man in red will also be making appearances around the centre with his trusty chief elf every weekend and selected weekdays until Christmas.

It’s free to visit the Wishmas Garden and see santa, but there are opportunities for shoppers to make donations to local charity, White House Cancer Support.
Rob Pickersgill, marketing manager at intu Merry Hill, said,

“One of the most exciting things about Christmas is the build-up and the anticipation ahead of the big day. Our mission is to put smiles on the faces of our visitors here at intu Merry Hill by creating the perfect festive shopping experience.”

“We know that having a white Christmas is at the top of everyone’s wish list at this time of year. As we can’t always rely on the great British weather, we’ve enlisted the experts behind the snow effects seen in the Harry Potter and Bond movies to bring a bit of winter magic to intu Merry Hill.”

The Wishmas Garden is open on the lower mall near H Samuel from Saturday 2nd – Thursday 28th December, 10am – 7pm weekdays, 11am – 4pm Saturday and 11am – 4pm Sunday.
