A Kidderminster man has been charged with kidnapping and raping a girl in the town.
West Mercia Police said that Henry Loveridge, aged 28, of Cobham Road, has been charged with the rape of a girl under the age of 13, attempted rape of a girl under the age of 13, kidnap and possession of cannabis.
Loveridge was arrested after the girl told police she was raped in a wooded area near to Hoo Road, Kidderminster, at around 10.30pm on Friday.
He will appear at Worcester Magistrates Court today.
