Kidderminster theatre producer, Paul Taylor-Mills will take on the role of Artistic Director at The Other Palace.

He previously served as an advisory producer at the theatre, which was recently taken over by Bill Kenwright, between 2016 and 2018 when the venue was under Andrew Lloyd Webber's ownership. It’s a theatre well known for launching new and exciting work. 

Taylor-Mills, who spent time as part of the Kidderminster Operatic and Dramatic Society youth section, has a number of high-profile credits to his name including the current UK tour of the smash hit musical, Heathers which is currently touring the UK. The show will return to The Other Palace later this month.

The society congratulated the producer on social media, saying “Congratulations KODS and KODYS alumni, Paul Taylor Mills”.

Speaking to WhatsOnStage about his new role, Taylor-Mills said he was “…absolutely delighted to be returning to The Other Palace as its new Artistic Director and launching my tenure with Heathers the Musical, all under the helm of Bill Kenwright.”

He added: “I have had the pleasure of working with Bill and his incredible team for many years and the opportunity for us to have a London home for our projects is a dream come true.”
