Kids go free at Dudley Zoo

Children can visit Dudley Zoo and Castle for free this autumn as the attraction launches a new discounted admission initiative for families.

Running every day until November 28, up to two children (aged 3-15) will receive free entry with every full-priced adult ticket purchased in advance from the zoo’s website.

Zoo Director Matt Lewis, said: “As part of our charitable mission to make Dudley Zoo as accessible and affordable for all, we’re pleased to be able to run this offer over the next few months, including October half term, which we hope will allow families the opportunity to visit us and enjoy a great day out this autumn.”

The discounted tickets must be purchased online and are not available on the gate.

As well as spotting inquisitive meerkats, boisterous Bornean orangutan youngsters, graceful giraffes and cheeky penguins around the 40-acre site, visitors will also be able to discover a number of recent arrivals including painted dogs, an Asiatic lioness, four bush dog pups and a baby sloth.
