A Kinver man who downloaded indecent images of children has avoided being sent to jail.
David Hunter, of Redwood Road, downloaded the images between 2004 and 2009. They were discovered after his ex-wife took his computer to the police.
Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how Hunter thought the images were dead and buried.
He admitted 12 charges of making indecent images of a child and was given a 12-month Community Order at Wolverhampton Crown Court, coupled with 12 months Supervision.
He was also ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work and told to register as a Sex Offender for five years.
