A man armed with a knife has been arrested after crashing a car on a Netherton pub car park.
Police were called to The Woodman in Saltwells Road at around quarter to nine on Sunday night following reports of a collision.
The man was seen waving a knife at members of the public and he was quickly detained by officers. The 44-year-old was further arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.
