Lee Parsons Further Remanded In Custody After Plea Postponed In Brierley Hill Security Guard Attack Case

A 44-year-old man accused of trying to kill a Brierley Hill security guard has been further remanded behind bars by a judge for a psychiatric assessment.

Lee Parsons has been charged with attempted murder after an attack on the 73-year-old guard at the Stoke Forgings factory in Vine Street.

Parsons, of no fixed address, is further charged with burglary but has yet to plead to the offences. He was scheduled to enter his pleas when he appeared before Judge James Burbidge QC at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

But it was decided he should stay in custody so he can be examined by a psychiatrist and he will return to the court on June 5.
