Local Charity run Bridge2Bridge Race

(L-R) Kate Morgan, Dean Barnshaw, Scott Paterson and Ingo Kresse

Members of a local charity, Camphill Village Trust, are celebrating after competing in last weekend’s 'Bridge2Bridge' event - a 34 mile relay race from Bridgnorth to Stourbridge,

The feat was endured to celebrate the launch of their new service, 'CVT Shared Lives', and the move into new offices at Eagle House on the Stourbridge ring road.

Kate Morgan, Dean Barnshaw, Scott Paterson and Ingo Kresse ran their respective legs, which trailed the scenic pathways along the River Severn, from Bridgnorth to The Ship Inn at Highley, then onto Dog Lane in Bewdley, where the route changed course and followed the Stourport Link Canal.

Passing by the Lock Pub at Wolverley and finishing at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge, the team finished in a time of 5:40 hrs.

The winning solo runner completed the course in 4:16 hrs.
