Local MP campiagns to bring back GP services to Pensnett

Dudley South MP, Mike Wood has been campaigning with local residents and councillors to being back GP services to Pensnett.

The services were moved from High Oak at the beginning of the pandemic in 2021, with the expectations that they would be restored.

Mr Wood has been working together with the local communities and councillors Rebbekah Collins and Sue Greenaway. He said:

“The Trust have badly let down the people of Pensnett who were promised that their GP surgery would be restored after the pandemic.

“Despite me and other community representatives gathering petitions and making clear that neither of these options are acceptable, the Care Board have still refused to consider alternatives that could bring GP services back to Pensnett.”
