A lucky couple will be saying ‘I do’ after winning a free wedding at the newly refurbished Thomas Robinson building in Lye.
Amy Lambeth and Stuart Hanson won their wedding, valued at £370, in a Dudley Council prize draw at the historic venue’s open day last Saturday.
Couples entered their names into the competition, with Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Mohammed Hanif drawing the winning entry live on Dudley Register Office’s facebook page.
The day also saw the launch of Dudley Registrars new chauffeur driven car service, which attracted a number of bookings on the day.
This, along with wedding stationery, save the date cards, invitations and floral confetti are all services available to newlyweds through the Dudley Registrars service. Councillor John Martin, cabinet member for corporate transformation and performance said:
“The newly refurbished Thomas Robinson building provides a beautiful setting for the perfect wedding for any couple planning to tie the knot.
“It was fantastic so many couples come along to have a look around and congratulations to Amy and Stuart for winning their wedding at this historic venue.”
