Make a splash this Easter with free swimming in Dudley

Children can swim for free across Dudley borough over the Easter school holidays.

Anyone who lives in the borough and is aged 16 or under can take advantage of the offer at Crystal, Duncan Edwards and Halesowen leisure centres from 1 to 16 April.

Family fun disability swims, which include the free swimming offer, will be held at Duncan Edwards Leisure Centre on Wednesday 5 and 12 April from 3.10 to 5pm, at Crystal Leisure Centre on Friday 7 and 14 April from 2 to 4pm, and at Halesowen Leisure Centre on Saturday 1, 8 and 15 April from 2.30 to 3.45pm.

Stourbridge’s Crystal Leisure Centre will also be offering late family swimming sessions on Tuesday 4 and 11 April, from 5 to 8pm. Helen Martin, director of regeneration and enterprise, said:

“Swimming is a great way for children to be active during the school holidays and the free-swimming offer is very popular with families.

“We are reminding people that numbers are limited, and entry will be on a first come first served basis.”

Young people must be supervised by a responsible adult aged 18 or over, and those who have not previously registered must do so in advance of their visit.
