A man’s appeared in court following an arrest made in Cradley Heath, by detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands.
Maroof Abdullah was detained from an address on Friday 6 March as part of a pre-planned policing operation.
The 18-year-old, from Cradley Heath, was subsequently charged with two counts of disseminating terrorist materials.
He appeared before Westminster Magistrates this morning (9 March) where he was remanded in custody ahead of a further hearing later this month.
