A man’s been arrested following a four-hour stand-off with police after the suspect ended up on the roof of a property in Upper Gornal.
Officers were called to Jockey Fields at around 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon.
Part of the road was closed off to traffic while police tried to persuade the man to give himself up.
He was then arrested in connection with criminal damage and affray.
