Police have arrested a man following an armed burglary in Stourbridge yesterday.
Officers were alerted to burglars armed with crowbars storming into a petrol station in Hagley Road just after 1.10am.
A spokesperson said: "They fled but following quick time enquiries we stopped a car suspected of being linked around an hour-and-a-half later, near Dudley town centre.
"A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is currently in custody for questioning. No-one was injured and our enquiries remain ongoing."
