Police have arrested and charged a man after a woman was assaulted on Broad Street in Birmingham.
Thaer Shook, aged 31, of no fixed address, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Monday) for a first hearing charged with assault by beating.
It follows an incident on Friday, shortly before 8am, when a woman was punched as she walked along Broad Street.
