Officers investigating a home invasion burglary on Reservoir Passage in Wednesbury on Friday have charged a 39-year-old man with a number of offences.
Craig Newitt, of Astbury Close in the Bloxwich area of Walsall, has been charged with burglary, taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, theft and theft of a car.
The sales representative, who was remanded into custody was due to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
A 46-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle with intent to steal has been released on police bail with strict conditions.
