A Halesowen man is set to appear in court after a bomb threat was made at the weekend.

Norman Taylor, from Spiral Close, was arrested from the hospital grounds on suspicion of making the hoax call.

Mr Taylor has been charged with malicious communication after police received a call at 10am on Saturday 2nd September claiming a bomb had been placed at Russells Hall Hospital.

The unemployed 43-year-old is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates court this morning.
