Man injured after Halesowen collision

A man in his 50s has suffered leg injuries after a collision in Halesowen on Sunday.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody. A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said:

"We are investigating after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a suspected non-stop collision in Hagley Road in Halesowen.

"The man, in his 50s suffered leg injuries when he was struck by a car at just before 10pm. He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening”.

"A 37-year-old man was today arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving”.

"He remains in police custody as enquiries continue”.
