Mike Wood's jobs and skills fair returns to Merry Hill this month

Mike at his Jobs Fair in 2022

The popular Dudley South Jobs & Skills Fair organised by the local MP and will offer hundreds of job and training opportunities from more than 40 organisations.

From careers with Lloyds Bank, West Midlands Police, the NHS, Dudley Council or His Majesty’s Prisons and Probation Service, to McDonalds, EE and even the Army, a wide range of opportunities will be available at what has become one of the West Midlands’ largest Jobs & Skills Fairs.

The free event will be held at Merry Hill between 11am and 3pm on Friday 29th September and will once again see more than 40 businesses and other organisations providing information for anyone seeking new job or career opportunities.

Mr Wood said he was incredibly grateful to Merry Hill for once again sponsoring the event, which will be the ninth he has organised since been elected in 2015. Mr Wood said:

“Hosting my annual Jobs & Skills Fair is always a highlight of the calendar for me because we know how much of a difference meaningful employment can make to a person’s life.

“There are a wide range of employers attending, as well as all of the local colleges and lots of other training providers – so I really do hope anyone looking for a new challenge will be able to make it on the day to find out more.”

The event will be held in the large amphitheatre space outside Marks & Spencer on the Lower Mall inside Merry Hill.

For any queries about the event, please contact Mike Wood’s office on 01384 913 123, or pop his team an email.
