Dudley town centre was alive with music and celebration on Saturday as thousands came together to celebrate Dudley Pride.
The free event, sponsored by Midtherm Laser Cutting, celebrated inclusivity, acceptance and equality.
The day featured a packed line-up of entertainment on stage including Dudley College performing arts students, the West Midlands Youth Theatre presented by Bedazzle and Temper Tantrum, a 4 piece, all fem, Riot Grrrl band.
Word of Mouth DJ Stu Ojelay brought house music vibes, Karl M got the audience singing along to 90s boyband hits and the Ultimate Abba Party headlined to round off the day’s entertainment.
Visitors enjoyed more than 40 stalls offering crafts, food and activities, along with face painting, nail art and dazzling street performers.
Councillor Mushtaq Hussain, Deputy Mayor of Dudley, said: “The pride event creates a vibrant atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy, and I’m delighted that so many people came together at this year’s event.
“I would like to extend my thanks to the many people who have made the event possible including our sponsors Midtherm Laser Cutting and event supporters Dudley College and Fun City.”
