Prepare for the perfect Mother's Day with Downton Abbey and a free glass of bubbly at Dudley Zoo.

As part of the attraction's forthcoming open-air cinema nights in the 11th century castle courtyard this spring, bosses are throwing in a complimentary glass of bubbles for anyone who purchases tickets for Downton Abbey before Mothering Sunday, on 22nd March. Marketing Manager Andrea Hales said:

“If your mum is a Downton fan, why not treat her to a ticket to watch the film in the grounds of the historic castle on Sunday 24 May. Bring a chair and a picnic and enjoy a free glass of bubbly on us.”

Tickets are £15.50 (£10.50 for concessions) and can be purchased online or by calling 01384 215313. A complimentary drinks voucher will be posted out a week before the screening for all Downton Abbey tickets purchased before Mother’s Day.

As part of their May Bank Holiday weekend film festival with QUAD, the zoo will also be showing The Greatest Showman on Friday 22 May and Rocketman on Saturday 23 May.

Doors open each night at 7pm, with the film beginning at 9.30pm. The events will go ahead whatever the weather.
