Motorcyclist seriously injured in Netherton crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Netherton this morning.

The 24-year-old was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf at around 7.15am on Halesowen Road, at the junction of Northcott Road. 

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

And a man was been taken to hospital after a fight in Dudley this afternoon.

Police were called to the junction of Castlegate and Tipton Road just before 4.30pm.

A 26-year-old man suffered serious injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
