Sandwell residents are invited to bring their picnic blankets and deck chairs to Sandwell Valley for the first ever big picnic movie weekend.
Escape to a magical house in Colombia, dance your way around the islands of Greece and carry a watermelon to Kellermans as the weekend offers a chance for musical fans to warm up their vocal chords and join in the fun as we screen some of the best loved movies of all time. Sandwell Councillor Charn Singh Padda, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, said:
"I would like as many residents as possible to come along to our big picnic movie weekend. You can bring along your own picnics, or try some tasty food from our delicious food vendors."
As well as food vendors, there will also be a licensed bar on site.
Moves being shown are:
- Saturday 19 August: Encanto (PG) – doors open at 12:30pm
- Saturday 19 August: Mamma Mia (PG) - doors open at 5pm
- Sunday 20 August: Dirty Dancing (12) - doors open at 5pm
Ticket prices are £6.50 for adults and £5.50 for children and are available via Ticketsource.
