Peaky Blinders tours come to Black Country Living Museum

Peaky Blinders enthusiasts are invited to step back in time and explore the real-life locations featured in the hit TV series, as the award-winning Black Country Living Museum launches official behind-the-scenes filming location tours.

Following the global success of Birmingham's iconic gritty drama, the Peaky Blinders Filming Location Tours offer visitors the chance to discover some of the show's most unforgettable moments. Led by a costumed guide in period dress, fans can expect stories, secrets and filming anecdotes as they walk in the footsteps of the Peaky Blinders themselves.

Having featured in all six series of the global smash series since filming began in 2013, the Black Country Living Museum's historic streets and buildings provided key backdrops for some of the show's most memorable scenes, including the iconic Charlie's Yard and canal tow paths - both of which feature within the filming location tours.

The 90-minute walking tour also takes visitors to four other locations featured throughout the series, including St James's School, Canal Street Bridge, the Blacksmith's Workshop and the Anchor Forge.

Along the way, guides share the stories behind moments such as Danny Whizz-Bang's alleged demise in the very first episode, the tense tea party with the Changretta family in series three - filmed at Charlie's Yard - as well as Freddie and Ada's secret meeting place beside Canal Street Bridge.

For those looking to explore more than Peaky Blinders, visitors can discover the wider history of the Black Country across the Museum's immersive 29-acre site. From historic shops and houses to working industrial areas, the museum tells the incredible story of the region and its people, from the Industrial Revolution through to the mid-20" century.

Hannah Parsons, head of development and communications at Black Country Living Museum, said: "Peaky Blinders has become such an iconic part of the Black Country and Birmingham's cultural identity, and we're delighted to give fans the opportunity to walk the very streets that helped bring the show to life.

"Our official filming location tours offer a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes, combining the drama and atmosphere of the series with the authentic historic setting of Black Country Living Museum. Whether visitors are long-time fans or discovering Peaky Blinders for the first time, there's plenty to uncover."
