Prime Minister David Cameron has promised to set up a Government task force to help the 684 workers facing the axe at the British Gas offices in Oldbury.
The PM made the pledge after Warley MP John Spellar raised the point in yesterday’s Prime Minister's Questions.
Centrica, the owner of British Gas, confirmed earlier this week, it had lost 224,000 residential customers in the first three months of 2016.
