Police appeal following road rage attack in Sandwell

Police are appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries following a suspected road rage attack in Sandwell.

It's understood a minor collision occurred between a Honda Civic and Ford Transit in Park Lane, Wednesbury, at around 1:15pm on 8th August.

The driver of the Honda Civic was then confronted by a man from the Transit and punched several times. The man, aged in his 50s, has been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries. He remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Someone else from the Transit is then understood to have taken the victim's car keys and took his vehicle.
