Police appeal for help finding trio of attackers

Officers are appealing to the public for help finding three men in connection with the assault of a woman in Greystone Passage, Dudley on 4 January.

At around 4.25pm, they knocked on the door of an address. A woman, in her late 20s, opened the door and she was pushed backwards by one of the men, who put his hand over her mouth. Her father came downstairs and confronted the men, who claimed to have got the wrong house and left.

They drove off in a silver Audi car.

Both of the men were described as white, in their late 30’s, around 6ft tall and wearing high visibility clothing. One was of stocky build with facial stubble and a woolly hat rolled up covering the top of his head. The other man was wearing a yellow hard hat. DS Leighton Shingles, of Dudley High Harm Team, said:

“Although nobody was seriously hurt it was very frightening for those involved.

"This kind of incident is rare but it causes us concern and we need to identify who they are. If you have any information, please call us on 101 giving crime reference 20DY/2918D/18."
