Police have launched a fresh plea for information after the death of a pedestrian who was seriously injured in a collision in Dudley.
Francis Wright, who was also known as Alan, was struck by a car while crossing Himley Road just before 6pm on 28 October.
The 76-year-old from Dudley suffered serious head injuries and sadly passed away in hospital during the early hours of 5th November.
The driver of the Kia Venga remained at the scene and is co-operating fully with the investigation. A spokesperson for the force said:
“Our thoughts are with the family of Mr Wright at this terrible time.
“We have officers from our family liaison team currently supporting those closest to him as they grieve.
“We are continuing to ask for anyone who witnessed the collision and hasn’t already spoken to us, or has dash cam or CCTV which will assist our enquiries, to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
