Police appeal over pensioner car park death

Police are appealing for witnesses of an incident in which a Kingswinford pensioner died following a collision on a hospital car park.

Ivan Tranter was walking across the car park of Russells Hall Hospital on 3 November when he was struck by a reversing vehicle.

The 83-year-old received treatment for a head injury and was later released from hospital. But he took a turn for the worse and later died from his injuries.

Officers investigating the collision have spoken to the driver and are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
