Police in Dudley have arrested two suspected car thieves after officers were involved in a footchase in Dudley this morning.
They were alerted to items being stolen from a car in Herringbone Way, Pensnett, just before 4.15am. Officers quickly attended and spotted two men, who ran off.
Police tracked them to nearby Stallings Lane - where one was hiding in a bush - and arrested them on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. The men, aged 21 and 25, remain in police custody for questioning.
