Priory Hall hosts a wedding open day this wekeend

Couples planning to tie the knot can find out about getting married at Priory Hall at an open day on Saturday.

Dudley Registrars are holding the wedding show bonanza, which will include a chance to take a look around the Grade-II listed hall, and a bridal fashion show with gowns available from ‘I do 2 Bridal Boutique’ in Stourbridge.

The office offers two ceremony venues; The Priory Suite or The Castle Suite, as well as the statutory register office. Webcams are now available to book across the venue meaning couples can choose to invite friends and family unable to attend the ceremony to share in their special day and watch as their vows are exchanged. The team is also able to give couples a recording of their marriage after the ceremony.

Alongside providing bespoke ceremonies and stunning venues for local couples, Dudley registrars also offer personalised wedding stationery, confetti cones and work in partnership with local businesses to offer wedding car hire, photography and bridal flowers. All will be on display at the open day.

Last year more than 400 people attended the event, which provides the perfect chance to view the venue and its surroundings in Priory Park. The park features the old Priory ruins and is overlooked by Dudley Castle. This year’s Dudley event will also include a free prize draw for anyone attending the event to win a Priory Suite wedding at Priory Hall. Councillor David Stanley, cabinet member responsible for registrar services, said:

“This event attracts many local businesses and hundreds of couples who are planning their wedding every year. It is a great opportunity to take a look around the beautiful venue and to make contact with local suppliers that can help to make dream days a reality.”

The open day will run from 10am to 4pm. For more information call 01384 815373.
