Independent wrestling promotion Victory Pro Wrestling will celebrate its first anniversary this November with a major live event in Dudley featuring wrestlers seen on WWE, AEW and TNA television.
'Gimmie That Boom II' takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026 at Baggeridge Social Club in Lower Gornal, Dudley, marking one year since Victory Pro Wrestling began bringing live professional wrestling to the Black Country.
Among those confirmed to appear is Idris Abraham, an internationally experienced professional wrestler who has appeared on WWE, AEW and TNA Wrestling television.
Abraham will join a line-up featuring some of the standout names from Victory Pro Wrestling's first year, including VPW Global Champion Rey Connor and Everywhere World Tag Team Champions The Future Killers, with further wrestlers and matches set to be announced in the build-up to the event.
Over the past 12 months, Victory Pro Wrestling has developed a growing following while bringing wrestlers from across the British independent scene to Dudley and providing a platform for emerging talent.
The promotion's most recent event, Feel The Heat, sold out at Baggeridge Social Club and saw Rey Connor crowned the inaugural Victory Pro Wrestling Global Champion, becoming the first wrestler to hold the promotion's top championship.
A spokesperson for Victory Pro Wrestling said: "When we put on our first show, the aim was to create something wrestling fans in Dudley and the wider Black Country could feel was their own.
"A year later, we've had sold-out events, crowned our first Global Champion and welcomed some incredible wrestlers through our doors.
"For our anniversary, we wanted to make the event feel special. Having someone of Idris Abraham's experience, who has appeared for WWE, AEW and TNA, alongside the wrestlers and champions who have helped establish Victory Pro Wrestling over our first year is a great way to celebrate how far we've come.
"The support we've received locally has allowed us to keep building, and this show isn't just about looking back at our first year — it's about showing people where Victory Pro Wrestling is going next."
Victory Pro Wrestling combines the athleticism of professional wrestling with larger-than-life characters, rivalries and ongoing storylines, creating a live entertainment experience for established wrestling fans, families and people attending professional wrestling for the first time.
The promotion has made Baggeridge Social Club its home and aims to continue building professional wrestling in Dudley and across the wider Black Country.
