Stallholders can show their support at Armed Forces Day in association with Black Country Housing Group on Sunday 1 July.
The event will celebrate the work of service men and women past and present at Himley Hall and Park from 11am to 5pm.
Craft, food and vintage stalls are a prominent and popular feature of the event and stallholders are encouraged to apply early if they would like a trade stand. The event will mark both 100 years since the formation of the Royal Air Force, and the centenary of the end of World War I.
Entertainment for all the family including vintage fairground rides and Punch and Judy shows will be on offer as well as performances from The Bluebird Belles, a vintage vocal harmony trio, The Land Girls, and RAF Cosford Voluntary Band.
There will also be a display of current and historic military vehicles for people get up close to and explore and WWI and WWII themed history talks in the hall. Councillor Alan Taylor, The Mayor of Dudley, said:
“Armed Forces Day gives the community an opportunity to come together to reflect upon, celebrate and thank those who have served their country. I would encourage stallholders to come forward and play their role in this fantastic event.”
