A 22 year-old Quinton man’s been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after one of his passengers was killed in a collision in Bartley Green on Saturday.
Liam Ellis, of Wisely Way, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday in connection with the crash on Adams Hill at around 3am.
A woman in her 20s − a passenger in the car which failed to stop for police before crashing − was confirmed dead at the scene. Another passenger suffered a broken foot.
Ellis is also accused of drink driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and driving while disqualified.
