Recruitment Agency Gives Local Hospice Generous Christmas Gift

Masstemps Ltd have made a large donation to the Mary Stevens Hospice, Stourbridge instead of sending out Christmas cards this festive season.

The recruitment agency, which has offices in Dudley and Kidderminster, would normally send out Christmas cards to all of their candidates and clients at this time of year, but have this year decided to use the money to make a £1000 donation to their local Hospice, which is currently trying to raise an additional £3.5 million to make high-quality palliative care available to more families in the Dudley Borough. Lindsay Jay, Compliance Director, Masstemps said:

“We are very proud to support such a great local charity - Mary Stevens Hospice is a charity very close to people’s hearts.

Hopefully our donation will make a real difference to those in need of hospice care services as well as their friends and family."

Alex Winstanley, Corporate Engagement Officer, Mary Stevens Hospice Group, said:

“We think it's a really lovely thing to do, and such a generous donation will make a huge difference to our patients and the families we support.

"This year is obviously a huge one for us as we try to raise the money we need for this ground-breaking expansion of our services, and the support of such generous local companies like Masstemps is the only thing that makes this vision achievable.

"So we'd like to say thank you to Masstemps, and merry Christmas to all of the people who would normally receive a card from them at this time of year."
