Road reopens after water leak

Work on a water leak on a busy road in Kingswinford has been completed and the road has reopened.

South Staffs Water notified Dudley Council that its work has been completed in Stallings Lane.

The company has been working on the water leak for several days and temporary traffic lights have been in place. Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for highways and environment, said:

“I’m pleased that South Staffs Water have completed their work and motorists can use that busy road as normal.

"Unfortunately, no one gets any notice about issues like this but thankfully the work has been completed as quickly as possible.”
