Rybrook Mini announces local hospice as charity partner

Rybrook Mini has announced it will be supporting the much-loved charity, Compton Care as its partner this year.

Compton Care provides care and support to people living with incurable conditions within the local community. The iconic car brand hopes to help increase the profile of Compton while raising funds for the charity, which needs over £12m every year to run its services.

Rybrook Mini is keen to support Compton in its 40th year in a variety of ways, including encouraging its staff to take part in Compton-organised activities, such as their Memory Walk or Snowdon at Sunset trek. The business will also be donating profits from promotional weekends.

To celebrate the partnership, Rybrook Mini has unveiled a Mini wrapped in the Compton branded colours and logos, which will be displayed proudly in the showroom. The car will also take the lead this Saturday when a convoy of the iconic vehicles are setting off from the dealership, located at Raby Street, Wolverhampton, at 9am.

The convoy will leave the showroom and travel to Compton Hall, where participants can have a pitstop at the onsite café, Crumbles, and fuel up on snacks and drinks. The convoy will then carry on to the Autism Centre Sensory Park, off Pendeford Hall Lane.

Mini drivers are encouraged to get involved – for more information and to confirm a place, contact Rybrook Mini on 01902 457001. James Elliott, Compton Care’s Director of Income Generation, said:

“We are absolutely delighted that Rybrook Mini have selected Compton Care as their charity partner. Local businesses pledging their support is so important to us.

"They will help to raise awareness of the vital services we provide to the community while also raising much-needed funds to ensure we can continue to care for and support those living with incurable conditions and their families.”
